Isabel Thompson

In her role as Partnership Manager for Fathom with parent company, Swiss Re, Izzy focuses on supporting the alignment of sales across the Swiss Re and Fathom product set. She works with the global sales teams to understand customer and market needs – and helps them collaborate and respond to those needs.

Izzy brings a wealth of management, sales and transformation experience to Swiss Re and Fathom, having worked as a management consultant at PwC,  KPMG and Vendigital (which was later bought by Siemens). In these roles she gained extensive experience of delivering operations and change-consulting programs. 

Her first degree is in Economics and French and before joining Swiss Re she studied Business Sustainability Management at the Cambridge Institute of Sustainability Leadership. 

Izzy joined Swiss Re in March 2024, drawn by the opportunity to work for a purpose-driven business alongside leaders in the flood risk and resilience field.

Outside work, Izzy enjoys spending time with her family and, having moved from London to Bristol when her two teenage boys were young, taking full advantage of the outdoors life – whether that’s visiting the coast, cycling or walking their much-loved dog Bruce.
