Copywriter

Louise Banbury

Louise is Fathom’s resident copywriter. She is responsible for translating the firm’s many discussions and ideas into engaging copy that speaks to audiences spanning potential clients, partners, the media, academics, and any other readers who stumble across Fathom.

She started her career in magazine publishing. Her first job was at the journal Nature working as an admin assistant, before she moved on to work as a reporter and sub-editor for a wide variety of publications including Macworld, CityA.M., the Guardian, Reuters customer magazine and Monocle. Prior to joining Fathom, Louise was a freelance copywriter, supporting industry and academic institutions with their content.

Now in-house, Louise enjoys the variety of content she can get stuck into, as well as being in an office setting that’s social and dog friendly.

When she’s not debating compound modifiers or the time and place for an Oxford comma, Louise can be found singing with her choir or on a walk with her cheeky little dog, Mingus.
